Dismantle discharge hose

Pull out the safety pin and release all residue pressure

Unscrew and dismantle the operating head valve

Dismantle and clean the operating head valve

Blow the head valve inlet/out

Check the pressure gauge

Check and clean the spring, handle and siphon tube

Re-install the operating head valve

Replace all “O” rings

Split out all the balance of powder

Weigh the empty cylinder and register tare weight

Refill the cylinder with the nominal weight and grade/type as stated on the cylinder

Weigh the cylinder accordingly and register the gross weight

Re-install the operating head valve to cylinder

Pressurize with specified propellant to the nominal working pressure

Calibrate the regulator to 12 bar

Conduct leakage test by submerging cylinder into water through or utilizing other leakage detection methods

Insert new safety pin as and when required and secure with anti-taper device
