Effective and sustainable fire suppression system.

The KJK IG is a fire suppression system, designed to suppress fire without leaving traces of residues and causes no further damage in properties and structures. Using non-toxic agent to displace oxygen, this fire suppression system is safe for the environment.

How does it work?

The KJK IG system uses inert gases as extinguishing agent. The inert gas is discharged from the steel cylinders into the area affected by fire through a network of pipes and nozzles. The inert gases then displaces and causes prompt reduction of Oxygen(O2) to 12%-13%, thus extinguishing the fire.

Designed for fires of class A, class B and class C.

The fire triangle is a simple model that explains what elements need to be present for a fire to ignite and burn. It consists of three elements: heat, fuel, and oxygen. Without either of these three, a fire cannot start or sustain itself.

While fire can seem like one big threatening force, it’s important to know that there are actually several classes of fires. A fire’s class can determine how quickly it burns, how dangerous it is, and the best way to suppress or put it out. These 3 different classes of fires each is best to be suppressed with KJK IG-100/55/541 support both single and multi zone system for reliable fire protection.

Single-Zone System

Typical view of KJK IG System installed for the protection of one hazard area. This hazard area is a server room with subfloor. The cylinders are stored close to the protected area. The server room is protected by four nozzles - two nozzles for the server room and two nozzles for the subfloor.

A control panel is used when to trigger the actuation of the discharge valve and directs the extinguishing agent to the appropriate flooding zone.

Multi-Zone System

The cylinders are stored close to the protected area. Each server room is protected by four nozzles - two nozzles for the server room and two nozzles for the subfloor.

A directional valve is used when multiple hazards are protected by the same set of cylinders. The directional valve directs the extinguishing agent to the appropriate flooding zone.

As inert gases are derived from gases present  in the earth's atmosphere, they exhibit no ozone depletion potential  and they do not contribute to global warning.

Benefits of the inert gases :

  • Safe for Electronics : Non-conductive and non-damaging.

  • Eco-Friendly : Naturally occurring and doesn't harm the environment.

  • Safe for People : Non-toxic and safe to use in occupied spaces.

  • Effective Fire Suppression : Quickly reduces oxygen to extinguish fires.

  • Non-Damaging : Safe for electronics and non-corrosive.

  • Versatile : Works well in various settings, including large spaces.

  • No Clean-Up Needed : Leaves no residue after use, keeping areas clean.

  • Cost-Effective :  Compared to traditional extinguishing agent, these agents are easily obtained since they are derived from gases present in the earth's atmosphere
